Manchu Vishnu To Star In Pedarayudu-2, Manchu Vishnu is hardly waiting for a hit. His latest Movie ‘Saleem’ is named as Historical failure. Now this time it would be last chance for hero to prove himself, so Vishnu should take time and select good stories.

It is known that Vishnu is doing two films at a time. Hero will cast in Pedarayudu-2, sequel of his father Mohanbabu’s Pedarayudu. The sequel will also directed by Ravi raja Pinishetty it seems. The other film would be in Hemanth Madhukar, who worked as Assistant Director to Ravi raja Pinishetty. At least Vishnu should do better with the film.

Prabhas-Kajal’s ‘Darling’ releasing on April 16th

Prabhas-Kajal starrer 'Darling' is gearing up for its big release in April. The entire shooting of the film has been completed except for a song. We have earlier reported that the post production of the film is going on in full swing to meet the deadline in April. The film is being directed by Karunakaran. This is first time, Karunakaran who had earlier directed Tholiprema, Ullasanga Utsahanga, has roped in Prabhas to play the lead role. Kajal is the lead actress in this film. Bogavalli Prasad is producingthe film under 'Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra' banner. This is Bogavalli Prasad's second film with Prabhas. His earlier film was Chatrapathi. Prince - Trivikram Movie Shelved ???

The high budget movie of Mahesh babu being directed by Trivikram Srinivas is rumoured to be shelved due to excess budget. According to reliable sources in film nagar, the cost of production till now has been 30 crores and the director has given a new schedule for 90 more days which would cost another 20 crores. Upset with this, the producer has threatened Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas to shelve the project. Earlier the distribution rights for the movie were bought by Geetha Arts for 32 Crores

Rajamouli-Prabhas Venture- ‘1940 Hyderabad Story’

The lethal combination of the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli and young rebel star Prabhas proved worthy when they came with ‘Chatrapathi’. Now, special news has begun to make rounds and this has caused a lot of buzz in the Tollywood circuit.

There is a talk of a very big venture and the script is in making right now. Sources reveal that this is on the backdrop of the 1930s and 1940s. Brindavanam releases on Aug 15?

August 15th, the Independence Day, has a very special place in NTR's heart. His Yamadonga was released on the same day three years ago and with that film he bounced back as star. It put him back on success track after a series of flops. Knowing NTR’s sentiment, producer Dil Raju wants to release his film with NTR, Brindavanam on the same day this year. The film is currently shooting at a special set erected in the outskirts of Hyderabad.

After finishing this schedule, the film unit will proceed to Karnataka, and then to Kerala to complete the film.

Brindavanam has raised a sea of interest among the fans of the star and the industry circles as well, because of the news of his impending marriage. And also for first time that NTR is appearing in a film as a lover boy, after he managed to drastically cut down his weight and developed a trim figure.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas father Uppalapati Suryanarayana Raju passed away this morning. He was admitted to the KIMS hospital in Hyderabad due to an illness sometime back. Young hero Ram’s tentatively titled film ‘Tom & Jerry’ will be going to sets in the month of March. Surendar Reddy who gave super hit movies like ‘Athanokkade’ and ‘Kick’ will direct this movie. NTRs superb performance as a typical Brahmin boy Chary in his latest super hit film Adurs receives applaud all over. Any big hero having a mass image will surely hesitate to do that role. The film, especially the ‘Chary character’ in it had its impact on NTR which made him to think about such variety characters for his future projects also.

NTR said that, so far he didn’t even think about doing such characters, fearing rejection by his fans and audiances. But, when he observed the good response to his Chary character, he decided to make such experiments in his future films also. He said his life time ambition is to remake his grandfather late NTR’s super hit film Daana Veera Sura Karna. He said he want to play all those roles that his grandfather played in that particular film.

When asked, whether there is a capable director for that film, he promptly replied ‘Why not? VV.Vinayak is there. He is very capable director to make that film. We may start this project anytime from now, because we both were very much inspired with the success of Adurs and our experimental role Chary in it. Now, we are confident that people will accept variety of roles done by me.

Shankar’s next with Siddarth

Now that 90 per cent of ‘Yanthram’ is over, Shankar is planning for his next. Circles close to him say he would like to take a break from ‘mega movies’ and intends to make a feel-good romantic film.

 
“Shankar has been tirelessly working from 2005 ever since he started ‘Sivaji’ with Superstar Rajinikanth. After ‘Sivaji’ got released in 2007, he did not take any long break and started ‘Endhiran’. Since both are made on big budgets with the numero uno actor of Tamil cinema playing the lead role, stress levels of Shankar are high.”

“Hence Shankar now wants to make a film like ‘Jeans’ and ‘Boys’ which are light and would strike a chord with youngsters. The new project he has in his mind would have Siddarth in the lead role,” sources say.

Claiming that Shankar is happy about Siddarth since the actor established himself well in Telugu and is keen at making it big in Hindi after he made his debut in ‘Boys’, sources add. “However, Shankar is no hurry. A formal announcement will be made only after the release of Yanthram,” they add.

AR REHMAN wins GRAMMY award..highest award for music in the world

Indian composer AR Rahman scored a double triumph at the Grammy Awards here on Sunday, scooping two early honours for his music from Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire.

Rahman won the first Grammy of the pre-show at the Staples Centre in the best compilation soundtrack for a motion picture category before his Jai Ho won in the best motion picture song category moments later.

“This is insane, God is great again,” Rahman said as he accepted his second award before a VIP audience.

Rahman’s rivals in the soundtrack category included Steve Jordan for Cadillac Records, Quentin Tarantino for Inglourious Basterds, and the producers of Twilight and True Blood.

In the best song category Rahman’s beaten rivals included Bruce Springsteen for his song The Wrestler, from the Oscar-nominated movie of the same name.

The Grammy success comes after Rahman earned two Oscars for his music in Slumdog Millionaire at last year’s Academy Awards.

The talented music maestro picked up the best original score statuette before scooping the best song Oscar.
